NO MEMORY EFFECT:
The battery can be recharged at any time and up to any capacity without harming the cells and without causing a memory or lazy battery effect.
LOW SELFDISCHARGE:
After 30 days the battery still has 96% of its capacity whereas NiCd / NiMH batteries can loose up to 25% of their capacity within this timeframe.
ECP (ELECTRONIC CELL PROTECTION):
The cells are electronically monitored and the output of the tool is automatically reduced in case of an:
overload condition
deep discharge condition
overheat condition All three conditions are harmful to the cells and reduce the lifetime of a battery pack dramatically.
